| So I was happily having a merry ol time with jpae this weekend in the west village on our cheap date, celebrating her great accomplishments in finishing med school and pondering upon how her new life will be in the city once she moves, when strolling along, all of a sudden, the strap on my new CD bag BROKE!!!! Mind you, this was perhaps the 4th or 5th time I have ever used the damn bag that I was so excited to finally hold and own!!! My goodness!! I was just in a state of shock! How can these brands have the nerve to charge hundreds of hundreds of hundreds of dollars (dollars that should be going to a down-payment fun) for product that breaks! Aren't they supposed to be all high-quality goods with fine Italian craftsmenship?? What the heck!? I have NEVER had a bag/purse strap break on me ever since I was a little kid!! All the way from jansport bookbags/esprit totes with tons of textbooks, and cheapie vendor bags and even fake bags from china/taiwan!! What is going on? I hardly even had anything in there either! What the heck!! Was it just a fluke? Luckily, I am able to send it back and get a replacement. Customer service said they have not had any returns on this particular puse. So what, when I finally decide to get the courage/guts to buy it (courage/guts to to put $ in a fund), mine is the one that has to be defective?? My boyfriend just laughed in my face and said "see what you get for buying expensive bags!". Is this a lesson that i should just stick to cheap bags?!
Am I not learning the lesson if i still want to continue having a bag fund and that i just went on the Chloe website?
